In-Home Services
At Sound Behavior Services we provide compassionate, individualized in-home ABA. We prioritize the unique humanity and emotional well-being of each learner, moving away from rigid, one-size-fits-all therapy. Delivered right in the comfort and familiarity of the client's home, this approach meets individuals exactly where they are, tailoring goals to their specific strengths, interests, and daily routines. Instead of focusing solely on behavior modification, compassionate ABA emphasizes building a trusting relationship, teaching meaningful communication skills, and honoring a client's autonomy and consent.
Parent Training
Parent training is a collaborative and empowering component of ABA services that bridges the gap between structured therapy sessions and everyday family life. Rather than simply being taught what to do, parents and caregivers work alongside behavior analysts to understand the why behind their child's behaviors, learning practical, evidence-based strategies to support communication and independence. This training is deeply individualized, focusing on the family’s unique routines, cultural values, and personal goals, while heavily emphasizing positive reinforcement and proactive communication.
School Consultation
School consultation is a collaborative partnership where a BCBA works directly with educators and school staff to support a student’s success in the classroom. Instead of focusing solely on one-on-one therapy, this approach looks at the bigger picture—evaluating how a student interacts with their school environment, peers, and academic routines. The consultant collaborates with teachers to design practical classroom strategies, modify learning environments, and implement positive behavior support plans that fit seamlessly into the school day.
